Lake Cerknica is the largest lake in Slovenia, covering an area of 26 km² and reaching a maximum depth of 10.2 meters (with the surface occasionally extending up to 38 km²). Located in a karst field, the lake is 10.5 km long and up to 4.7 km wide. During autumn and spring, the water level rises significantly, particularly when snow begins to melt. Lake Ivarčko

Ivarčko jezero, Lakes of Slovenia

Lake Ivarčko is a small lake located at the foot of Mount Uršlja Gora, near the village of Kotlje. With a surface area of just 1.2 hectares and a maximum depth of 5 meters, it is a tranquil spot.

In the past, the area featured better infrastructure for sports activities, but today it is somewhat neglected and awaits a new owner. Despite this, Lake Ivarčko remains a small paradise worth visiting if you find yourself in Slovenia.
